Also, in Intro to Drama and Theatre today, we were talking about the driving forces behind life, and I realized that the reason why Shae is such a confused and scattered character is that she literally has no motivation. She's a purely responsive character; she has no objective, no long range goals. Nothing drives her at all.

It's totally frustrating, but I really can't think of anything that she wants to do.
