Let me preface this entry by saying: I spent about six hours of my life today trying to get Mathematica to work on my home computer. I am down $44.50, and it still doesn't work, but by GOD they WILL send me a CD of the program so I can get it to work, or I will set fire to the universe.

That said, I'm now spending a lovely evening/night/morning in Founders, reconnecting with my college student heritage, spending time with my lovely SAI sister who is just as distractable as I, and learning how to use NewImplicitPlot, ParametricPlot, DirParametricPlot, and PlotMidpointApprox; which is sort of like scraping nails across a chalkboard, assuming that the chalkboard is a cliff face, and I need to dig my nails in to survive a plummet to the bottom.

I don't think my calculus professor is very happy with me either.  I'll just have to... do... really well on the exams.  So she'll like me.  Even though I only really need a C and I'm really tired of school.  I think I'm mostly tired of school because I don't live on campus anymore, which is pretty much a crying shame.  Everyone is really excited to get out of dorms, and then you just get bored with school because you already have a house so WHO CARES.  That is a lame way to spend your senior year.

I DIGRESS.

What I really wanted to say is that like anything absolutely perfectly beautiful and absolutely perfectly inscrutable and absolutely perfectly aggravating...

Mathematica is a woman.

ALSO.

I will burn down Wolfram for the six hours I could have spent on this project and didn't.
