Seriously. Fuck this shit. I feel like I'm drowning, and it doesn't bother Mike because he grew up in St. Louis where you can't sweat in summer because the air is already supersaturated with water. Ew. I told him that I take back my agreement that living in St. Louis might be acceptable some time in the future. I will not agree to be able to swim in the air unless I buy a summer house in Alaska.
Since I haven't posted in... a really really long time, here is a very fast summary.

1. This last Saturday was my and Mike's anniversary which we pretty much chose randomly because neither of us really know when we started dating. It was Too Damn Hot then too, but the steak restaurant we went to--oh baby. It was like eating a little slice of Heaven, but that's the last time we'll be able to go out for a while because
2. We are epic poor. I finally got my job set up at Gamer's Asylum (www.gmasylum.com) but I don't actually get paid until the end of August, meaning that I'm essentially digging around in the dirt for worms to eat because I use all my dollars to go to and from Mike's new apartment on the El.
3. My hair is back to its natural color. Gasp! It hasn't been this color for like eight years. I also chose a greeeeaaaat time to grow it out again. Stupid summer.
4. I took a really long trip with my dad to help him move to California where his new job at the University of Irvine is. It is super nice out there, and the heat is DRY.
5. My sister is moving to College this Wednesday! Okay, that's not really about me, but I'm also
6. Doing a victory lap and going back to Knox for one more term to take Physical Chemistry and English Prosody to finish up my Chemistry major and Creative Writing minor in one fell swoop and actually get my diploma to put into my empty diploma case.
7. I got my driver's license.
8. I got a car.
9. My car exploded.
10. I had to sell it for $120 thereby giving me immense debt, which was not helped out by Wells Fargo
11. Auto bill paying $300 out of my account, overdrafting me. FML.
12. I can't even remember if I wrote about Minnie, my beautiful 3 year old grey-siamese-or-something-like-it cat who I got from the shelter in Galesburg last summer. I love her.
13. Did I mention I have the best SAIdaughter rosebud ever?
14. And that I was president of SAI this last year?
15. And that my bipolar drugs are on track finally?
16. But I still have horrible insomnia?
17. I'm playing Magic the Gathering again, and also started a Hordes army, and I played 4th Edition D&D for the first time and they fucked up the experience system something awful and also did away with 5 foot steps which is some bullshit.
Okay. Time to walk to my job. I'mma paint for a bunch of hours and expire from having no food. Woo! Awesome!
